Add sharp audio capture to your ZR cinema camera recordings with the ME-D10 Shotgun Microphone from Nikon. This compact shotgun mic mounts onto the digital accessory shoe on top of the ZR camera to input audio, and the hot shoe also provides power to the mic. It is designed to record 48 kHz/24-bit sampling as well as professional-quality 48 kHz/32-bit float.

The intelligent mic features two modes that you can switch between: PURE mode provides standard capture at 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response without filtering, and FOCUS mode provides a 90 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response that is designed to pick up human voices more clearly. There is also a switch to change the pickup pattern from front cardioid, to rear cardioid, or to omnidirectional. A status LED on the front and back indicates when the mic is in use, and it can be adjusted between high beam, low beam, and off.
